What is Stampfer Retreat Center?

Stampfer Retreat Center exists to provide groups and individuals with the relaxation, recreation, and exhilaration opportunities that have been available to campers at Camp Solomon Schechter for the past 65 years.  As a non-profit organization, revenue from these rentals is ultimately directed back to Camp Solomon Schechter to maintain and enhance the facility and keep costs stable for camp families.

Due to our unique non-profit status, Stampfer Retreat Center can only rent to the following groups and events:

Government, non-profit organizations, tribes, schools, and religion-associated events (such as Weddings, church camps, and Bar & Bat Mitzvahs)

What is Camp Solomon Schechter?

Camp Solomon Schechter is a Jewish summer camp which has existed in the Pacific Northwest since 1954, and at our current location in Tumwater, Washington since the 1960s.  Camp Solomon Schechter emphasizes the values of integrity, derech eretz (respect), and tikkun olam (repairing the world).
